WHAT TO EXPECT
Congratulations on your beautiful pregnancy Mumma! What a better way to celebrate your body than to treat yourself to a maternity photoshoot!
I recommend getting your session in the books once youve had your 20 week scan. To make sure we capture your beautiful body when you're feeling your best we recommend that your experience takes place when you are between 28-34 weeks pregnant, this just ensures that you are not too tired on your feet! Feel free to bring along any little ones and well behaved partners if you would like them to be included in any of your photos. But, if you would like some 'you' time that’s ok too!
Depending on your chosen package will depend on how many outfit changes we can fit in during your session! I have a selection of stylish dresses to make you feel your most beautiful. Alternatively, if you would prefer to bring your own outfits I have included a what to wear guide as part of this welcome pack.
Once you have put down a deposit & signed your photography agreement, your date goes onto my calendar!
Your in-home maternity session is designed to be a beautifully relaxed, luxury experience, focused on connection, comfort, and timeless imagery. Everything is guided gently — there is no pressure for perfection 🤍
Below is a simple guide to help you prepare.
HOW TO PREPARE
Choosing Your Space
You may select:
Two or three rooms within your home, or your bedroom only, if you prefer a more minimal approach
If using the bedroom, all that’s required is:
White or neutral bedding
I can style the space using my own pillows, throws, and textures to create a soft, cohesive look.
⸻
Natural Light
I work exclusively with natural light to achieve a soft, timeless aesthetic.
Where possible, please keep areas near windows clear
I will assess the light on arrival and guide positioning
No need to worry — your home doesn’t need to be “perfect.”
⸻
When To Schedule Your Photoshoot
Schedule your session between 28-34 weeks as your tummy should have popped and be showing beautifully at this stage
⸻
Styling
TREAT yourself Mumma!! your hands are going to be in most of the shots so go for that manicure and whilst you're at it treat yourself and get your hair and makeup done
Bring along any cute baby items or scan photos that you already have!
Take some time to think about what outfits you would like to wear! If you're going to treat yourself to a new dress, think about a style that will still be suitable for when you're not pregnant so you can wear it more than once! This also makes for a great before and after picture, once your little one has arrived! Think about dresses that have plenty of movement in them!
General Advice
Bring plenty of snacks! If you are anything like me those cravings stayed even after my baby was born! I will keep you well topped up on drinks!
If you are feeling nervous about being Infront of the camera, practice some poses Infront of the mirror so they become more natural to you! I promise I will make you feel comfortable too!
⸻
Temperature
For baby’s comfort:
Fully dressed babies: 18–20°C
Outfits showing more skin: 22–24°C
Comfort is always prioritised.
⸻
During the Session
You may be gently guided to adjust furniture or positioning for optimal light
Older siblings may be invited to sit or stand in places they normally wouldn’t — only if you’re comfortable
EXAMPLES OF WHAT TO WEAR
You are more then welcome to send over any outfit ideas if you need a second opinion!

HERE ARE A FEW NAIL AND EYELASH PRODUCTS THAT I RECOMMEND!
A Thoughtful Note
Your comfort is always honoured.
You are warmly invited to decline or pause anything that doesn’t feel right for you or your baby.
The experience is designed to be calm, unhurried, and beautifully flexible—allowing space to simply be.
A Gentle Reminder
Your home does not need to be styled or pristine.
A light tidy of visible surfaces is more than enough.
I work only within the frame, focusing on what matters most.
This session is about connection, intimacy, and the quiet beauty of these fleeting early days.
CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU ALL!
